He completed his Master’s degree at the Federal University of Bahia with distinction and honors, and completed his Doctorate in Sciences with top marks. He studied Psychoanalysis at La Salpêtrière in Paris.

He spent more than half a century working at renowned Higher Education Institutions as a professor and coordinator of undergraduate and graduate courses.

During his intellectual and professional development, he followed many paths, but the complexity of the human mind has always been his greatest fascination.

He developed the theory and practice of the TTS Trance & Therapy by Semiotics method, revealing a new way of producing therapeutic effects.

He has published books and conducted several studies on the subject of Trance and therapy in hospital and university settings.

He has given courses and lectures at congresses, seminars, workshops and university meetings throughout Brazil.

Invited by international teaching and research institutions, he has presented the TTS method at more than forty international academic events.
