Dyakapiró means mermaid.

My grandfather, Pajé Kíssibi, gave me this name at my birth.

I belong to the Umukho Mahsä clan; Dessana ethnicity, which means Humans of the Day, and Tuyuca ethnicity, which means children of the great snake of the enchanted stone. I am indigenous to the Dessana people through my father, Thoalamu, and the Tuyuca people through my mother, Yorsokamu, who has become my ancestor.

I maintain and preserve my identity by continuing the knowledge of my lineage of pajés, shamans, healers, drummers, ceremonialists, musicians, spiritual servers, and healers through rituals, songs, crafts, dances, forest medicines, and especially our spirituality.

I am a Spiritual Leader and I am 34 years old. I carry out movements focused on my indigenous identity. I am originally from Alto Rio Negro, located in the Pari Cachoeira District in the Municipality of São Gabriel da Cachoeira.

I am a singer, composer, cultural activist, Ceremonialist, and facilitator of Yebá Buró Goamu rituals with forest medicines such as Ayahuasca, Cacao, rapé, Cannabis, and Mushrooms. I lead circles of intuitive self-knowledge studies.

Natural medicines are part of our natural forest pharmacy, as well as the medicines we consecrate in our rituals for spiritual treatments and self-knowledge studies. Ayahuasca is the medicine that has been part of our tradition since my ancestors.

I was initiated by spirituality and by my father, Pajé Thoalamu, here on earth. In our lineage, it is a tradition for the father to pass on knowledge to his children to maintain our existence. As a young indigenous woman, I am part of my lineage, maintaining the healing practices of my people with my songs known as ícaros, pajelanças, dance, instrument playing, and channeling. The presence of spirituality is a natural development from our birth; the healing practices of my Dessana and Tuyuca people help those who need specific care for the diseases of the mind, body, spirit, and soul.

As a caretaker and spiritual server, I make these movements to rescue the feminine knowledge of my people, always honoring and respecting the masculine knowledge and especially rescuing the essence of each brother who participates in the healing circle with me and my family. I feel it is a call for more Indigenous women to allow themselves to be in all places as Spiritual Leaders; in different times and spaces, we are connected, encouraging and strengthening each other in the physical and spiritual fields.

I honor my history and honor each one who will be anchoring this force of Love in this special and beautiful movement of The Voice of the New Earth 2025.
